Fabric qualities
Three-wire corduroy - the most durable and heaviest corduroy quality. Extremely durable because of tripple twisted warp threads, wide ribs, 85% cotton, 15% polyester, 600 g/m2, approx. 22 ribs on 10 cm. Colour: black.
Trenker corduroy (Manchester) - the most popular tabby-back corduroy for traditional guild trousers. Durable corduroy, wide ribs, 85% cotton 15% polyester, 535 g/m2, approx. 22 ribs on 10 m. Colours: black, olive/brown, beige, dark grey
Genoa corduroy - 440 hard wearing corduroy fabric, 85% cotton, 15% polyester, 440 g/m2, narrow ribs, approx. 32 ribs on 10 cm. Colour: black, grey, beige, oliv/brown.
Baby corduroy - a lightweight corduroy fabric, narrow ribs, 98% cotton, 350 g/qm, 2% polyester, 32 ribs on 10 cm, colour: black.
Stretch corduroy - lenght elastic corduroy, this corduroy is not as durable, for example the Genoa corduroy. 71% cotton, 10% Modal fibre, 15% polyamide, 4% LYCRA®, 320 g/m2, approx. 33 ribs on 10 cm. Colours: black, beige, wine-red, gold-colored, chocolate-brown, purple, pink, ink-blue, grass-green.
Twisting double pilot "German leather"- strong material, inside brushed, 100% cotton, 600 g/qm. Colour: black.
Twisting double pilot "English leather" - for softness hard wearing fabric, roughened inside, 100% cotton, 520 g/m2. Colours: black, grey, white, navy striped, chocolate-brown.
Stretch pilot - strong material with Nano Certex® technologie, water/oil-resistant, dirt repellent, 98% cotton, 2% LYCRA®, 500 g/qm. Colours: black, dark-grey, dark-blue, brass.
Twill - an extraordinary abrasion-resistant, tear-proof and durable 100% cotton. With double twist yarn, tightly woven. Tear and tensil strenght complay with the highest requirements for cotton. 100% cotton, 375 g/m2. Colour: black.
Ribbed moleskin - lightweight and tear-proof guild Ripsmoleskin 100% cotton, 310 g/m2, Colour: black, dark-grey.
Canvas - the lightweight and tear-proof „LongLife“ quality 310 g/m2, 65% polyester 35% cotton, panama weave. Colours: black, brown.
CORDURA® - a lightweight extremly hard wearing fabric CORDURA® 7 times stronger than cotton, 47% CORDURA® 53% cotton, 260 g/m2,TeflonTM coated, blended with cotton. Colours: black, dark grey.
Camouflage - the lightweight and tear-proof quality 255 g/m2, 65% polyester 35% cotton. Colour: camouflage.
Jeans Stretch - Denim with a trendy look, pre-washed, shrink-resistant, 99% cotton 1% LYCRA® 12,25 oz (385 g/m2). Colour: indigo blue (stone washed), black.
Diamant - 65% polyester, 35% cotton, 300 g/m2. The fabric is certified in accordance with ISO EN 15797 for industrial washing. Abrasion-, tear-, fade resistant and easy-care. In many colours.
BEAVER® - 50% cotton, 50% polyamid, 240 g/qm, impregnated with Teflon, abrasion-, tear-, fade resistant.
Amber - 60% cotton 40% polyester, 345 g/m2. The fabric is certified in accordance with ISO EN 15797 for industrial washing. Soft and smooth, the inner surface is brushed to make feel soft. Abrasion-, tear-, fade resistant and easy-care.
Organic cotton means a cotton fibre which has been grown according to the principles and rules of organic agriculture. These rules are very strict and are defined by a law from the European Union. Organic agriculture uses no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, and no Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). Organic fertilizers (such as compost) and plant-based pest management products (such as neem or garlic extract) are used. However, organic agriculture is not merely about replacing synthetic inputs with natural ones. The major principle is to restore a natural balance within the farm, with healthy soils, rich in organic matter. In such an environment, the pests are not systematically destroyed by poisons but are kept under control by their predators, just as they are in nature.
